| Life is so weird. Fist it seems slow, then it seems to speed by.
Right now I am very happy. School is done for the year, I finished well, then worked on the wedding stuff. I'm so excited that I actually get to get married! Saturday can't come quickly enough. Luckily I will have my bridesmaids around to keep me company. My Matron of Honor is Emily, then I have Karisa, Stephanie, Becca, and Kelli. Mike has Tommy, Mike, Matt, John, and Fred. We both have our bachelor/bachelorette parties tonight, then tomorrow is our big dress rehearsal and rehearsal dinner day. We're having our rehearsal dinner at Geno's East in St. Charles. I think our out of town guests will really enjoy the food, and I'll enjoy having dinner in a relaxed/fun atmosphere.
I get to be a Mrs. finally! Yay!

| I am so overwhelmed.
Wedding...46 days away (June 16th)
22 more teaching days until the last day of school (June 1st)
Mike's family is moving out of their house...they have 2 weeks to find a new one or they'll be living in a hotel. Right now all of their stuff is going into a storage unit.
I am so stressed out.
I am really looking forward to the fun showers that are coming up. Suzie is having one for me on Saturday, then next week I have one at my school and one in Michigan by my mom and Emily. I am looking forward to being surrounded by friends instead of work work work work.
I want to slow down. I want to slow down. I just keep thinking, if I can just make it till June 1st, i'll be ok. Time is going to fly so fast...but there is so much to be done.
I wish i had some inspirational words to say....but all i can do right now is survive.

| Waiting...counting down...this is my life.
Spring break officially starts after school tomorrow.
The kids are CRAZY...they want to be on spring break too.
I'm not even going anywhere special, but the thought of waking up and going back to sleep if I want to, working out at the gym at 9am instead of 6am...these things make me happy.
It will be a break from school, but it will not be a break from life. Next week I need to pick out my wedding cake, meet with the caterer, pick out my flowers, find and write out all of the addresses of people who are invited to the wedding...go over the guest list again and make cuts. I hate making cuts! I wish I could have 500 people at my wedding, that would make things easy...or maybe hard. Blah.
The Multi-Cultural lunch is being held in my room again this year. I didn't agree to it, it was more forced upon me. I'm all for tasty ethnic food, but having a room that smells like curie and other things all afternoon is awful. Last year my first graders came in plugging their noses and complaining, just what I need right before spring break.
My spring concert is coming along though, which is nice. I'm happy most of the classes are completely prepared for it, and the ones who are behind still have time to catch up before April 23rd.
That's all the complaining for now i guess. I can't wait for the weekend!

| today is a long day...at work anyway. Parent-teacher conferences are today after school, but luckily we have a half day tomorrow to make up for it.
This past weekend was ok...i'm still adjusting to Tracy being gone. I had a fun chocolate party on Friday night, lots of girls showed up and the chocolate was delicious!!
I am completely addicted to watching Gilmore Girls. I started watching the DVDs from season one, now i'm on season three and i love it! I can't believe I never watched this show on TV!! The nice thing is, Mike likes watching it too...it's great writing, and very funny :)
I really need to get my act together soon and order the invitations for my wedding. Everything takes so much time and effort!!
Anyway, that's my update I guess.

I just heard the news about Tracy yesterday. I can't believe she's gone. I mean, how many 22-year-olds do you know who feel dizzy, go to their clarinet lesson, black out and die!?!? She was such a dear friend to me, always full of joy, with such a big heart. I will miss her very much, my only peace is knowing she is in heaven and I will see her again someday.
